The Sacramento Kings' chase for the postseason suffered another setback Tuesday night. 

The team announced that forward Marvin Bagley III will not be available for the NBA restart, according to James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area.

The Kings are holding Bagley out as he continues to recover from a right foot injury that he suffered during practice Sunday. 

The 21-year-old is expected to need a walking boot for at least two weeks, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic, and the team felt it didn't make sense to bring him back even in a best-case scenario.  배트맨토토PC

Sacramento is currently tied with the Portland Trail Blazers and New Orleans Pelicans at 3.5 games behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth and final seed in the Western Conference with eight games to play. The loss of Bagley hurts the club's chances of catching Memphis, although his absence isn't unfamiliar territory. 

Bagley appeared in just 13 games for the Kings this season, his second in the league, averaging 14.2 points and 7.5 rebounds. He missed 22 games early this season after fracturing his thumb in the season opener, and then sustained a left foot sprain in December. Bagley tried to return nearly a month later, though lasted just four games before sitting out again. He didn’t return to the court before the league suspended play in March. 

The Kings will resume play in Florida with a 28-36 record, the 11th-best record in the Western Conference. Bagley would have been a major help for Sacramento, who needs to make a significant push during the last eight games of the regular season — which is slated to start next Thursday.

Several members of the team have tested positive for the coronavirus, too, including Jabari Parker, Buddy Hield, Alex Len and Harrison Barnes. Parker, Hield and Len have since recovered and are with the team in Florida, while Barnes is still recovering at home in Sacramento.
